Intro

• Currently partners are paid TPID rewards (up to 50%) for every free FIO Crypto Handle they generate.

• Foundation has to pay for the registration of those handles from its limited special-purpose FIO Crypto Handles Giveaways token pool.

• Many partners immediately sell received FIO tokens to fund their own treasuries.

Proposal

• In order to ensure long-term sustainability of the Foundation, I believe the TPID rewards should be collected by the Foundation instead and used to fund its initiatives.

• Foundation will continue to fund free FIO Crypto Handles for partners, it just would not pay TPID rewards for it.

• This proposal will not impact existing agreements, but only new ones.

• Partners may be more incentivized to sell FIO Domains and paid FCHs, which would further benefit the protocol.
