Contributor Tools

Overview

FIO Contributors utilize a number of different tools and platforms to accomplish their objectives. Typically those tools are managed by the Worker Proposal Leads. Below is a list of some tools and platforms and how to get set-up on them if you need to.

Atlassian Stack

You are looking at it. It’s Jira Software, Confluence (Wiki), Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, Status Page. If you are a Worker Proposal Lead it is available to you and your team for free.

  • Any user can create or link an Atlassian account

  • To gain access to specific pages or projects a unique role may be required, e.g. active-worker or biz-dev-worker.

  • To request a role to be added, Worker Proposal Lead should submit a ticket with Component of Tool Access, Title Atlassian Role Request and specify:

    • Worker’s Atlassian username

    • Role required

Gsuite account

Gets you an @fioprotocol email address and access to Google Tools (mail, calendar, drive, etc.). If you are a Worker Proposal Lead it is available to you and your team for free.

  • To request Gsuite account to be added, Worker Proposal Lead should submit a ticket with Component of Tool Access, Title Gsuite Request and specify:

    • Worker’s First and Last name

    • Alternative Email Address

Discord

Discord is the primary chat tool used by FIO Contributors.

  • To gain access to channels only available to Contributors a role may need to be added.

  • To request a role to be added, Worker Proposal Lead should submit a ticket with Component of Tool Access, Title Discord Access Request and specify:

    • Worker’s Discord handle

    • Role Requested
